Tournament Rules


GENERAL

1. These rules apply to the “Two Worlds 2 Castle Defense Lite”-Tournament which is directly connected to the” Two Worlds 2 Castle Defense Lite” game released on PC and Mac. Henceforth referred to as the “Tournament”.

2. This tournament is facilitated by TopWare Interactive, Inc., 3960 Howard Hughes Parkway, Las Vegas, Nevada 89109

3. By entering the Tournament, the contestant conclusively is deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Tournament rules, terms, and conditions, as well as by any rules specific to such contest. This is an irrevocable condition of entry.

PARTICIPANTS

1. This Tournament is void where prohibited by applicable law.

2. Employees of TopWare Interactive are excluded from participating in this Tournament.

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

1. The Tournament will begin on 12.21.2010, 12:00am (GMT+1). From that time forward, the Tournament versions of the game will be available for download.

2. Tournament duration is three weeks and will end on 31.01.2011, 6pm (GMT+1). During that period every participant may submit his/her high score to the general leaderboards posted at: http://www.twoworlds2.com/cd.

3. After 31.01.2011, 6pm (GMT+1), high scores will no longer be accepted.

4. Within 14 days from the Tournament's end, winners and their respective prizes will be posted at: http://www.twoworlds2.com/cd.

TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS

1. To participate in the Tournament, download the version 1.0.0 of the “Two Worlds 2 Castle Defense Lite” game. Download available from http://www.twoworlds2.com/cd for the PC and Mac. Scores submitted from any other game version will be excluded from entry.

2. After finishing the game, contestants may submit their scores. In order to complete the submission a contestant must provide their name and email address. Scoring information, as well as a record of all in-game actions, is sent to the Sponsor’s server, where it is verified and added to the leaderboard upon submission.

3. Contestants must only provide their name and address upon submission.

4. Contestants may enter as many times as they wish, but only the highest score submitted will be included in the final high score list. If a contestant supplies more than one high score, the contestant cannot win more than one prize.

5. Names containing swear words or obscenities will be removed from the leaderboard.

6. Contestants’ email addresses will only be used for Tournament purposes, and will not be visible on the leaderboard.

7. Any submissions from altered or "hacked" versions of the game will be null and void. Any such submission will be removed from the leaderboard.

8. The organizer reserves the right to make the winnings distribution dependent from a proof of the playing skills of the respective winner. This proof can for example be provided through a live gaming session - either at the winners home or during a visit of the winner in the premises of the organizer.

PRIZES

1. There are two ways to win one of the four Prizes:
1. The Best Score prizes, awarded for achieving the three highest scores.
2. The Lottery - Awarded in a lottery drawing process from a pool composed of all contestants whom submitted a score. Winners of the Best Score awards will be excluded from the lottery pool.
2. One Prize per contestant per Tournament.
3. Prizes will be granted within 20 days of the date winners are announced.
4. All winners will be notified via e-mail. If the winner does not respond to this notification within five (5) business days, another winner will be selected. Failure to respond within this five (5) day time period shall result in a forfeit of said prize. Winners may not request substitutions for any prize awarded. All winners are solely responsible for any and all taxes and/or fees, as well as all additional costs that may be incurred.
5. If any provision of these terms are not legally effective either wholly or in part, and/or lose their legal effectiveness at a later date, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of the terms, and the applicable court or arbitrator shall construe the remaining provisions to most closely effect the intent of the parties expressed in such invalid or ineffective term.
